MW2 vs cod 4 Maps

which do you think has better maps...i personally prefer those in cod 4(nothing beats a dood o'l game on backlot)

and i also hate most of the maps in mw2 especially derail

Call of Duty 4 definitely. I quite like Terminal, but that's it.

Who in their right mind would prefer MW2's maps ?...I can't honestly see someone saying MW2's maps are better to play on than COD 4's.

Easily CoD:4. The only map I enjoy playing in MW2 is Highrise, but even that is a broken map that is almost always reduced to spawn camping. The rest of the MW2 maps are just terrible. I refuse to purchase any map packs for MW2 unless they replace every single original map and reveal that it was just a joke. But for some reason, I don't see that happening.

CoD4 had a few awesome maps and a couple okay maps, whereas MW2 has a few awesome maps and several poorly-balanced-to-the-point-where-they're-unplayable maps.

Pains me to say it, but i agree with your statement. the only map in CoD4 that was decent for camping was wetwork, mainly because a sniper couldn;t see you. All the other maps, any little corner you could camp yourself in could easily be shot at by a sniper.

COD4 by far. The only maps I like in MW2 are Terminal and Highrise

I Didnt care for any of the CoD4 maps, but i like almost all of MW2, except for Karachi

I'm going with the majority on this one, the COD4 maps were pretty fun. MW2 maps all feel the same, not to mention how much they encourage you to camp.

CoD4 maps were far superior to MW2's maps.

I like MW2 mpas better because there is more vertical gameplay, and the hills are so cool to fight on.

Hi all, new here :)

I easily prefer COD4's maps, there were some I really looked forward to playing on, eg. shipment (the 1 time in 100 it was chosen haha) backlot, pipeline, crash, bloc, and so on.

On MW2, there are hardly any maps I really like, the majority of them are ones I don't like :( Terminal is okay, as is Skidrow, but really I only get enjoyment from playing them with my friends.

I consider MW2 a decent game, but nowhere near as fun as COD4. There are one or two features that have been improved eg. some of the perks, and the killstreaks (though they've been overdone I think - 6/7 should be enough or they should be categorised).

Of course, the game might grow on me.

I like MW2 maps better because you have to focus on the fact that you have to pay attention to what is below or above you, not just checking corners left and right.

MW2 maps promote camping.

Everything in CoD4 is better.

CoD4, it isn't even close. MW2 has some of the worst maps I've ever played on.
