About a year ago I got the "Unplayable Disc" error. I decided to just fix it myself and its been working fine for a year but it finally pretty much died for good, well it wont play discs for good.

Its a premium, so if I just bought a 200 dollar arcade 360 I would be able to just put my hard drive on it and it would work fine right?

Yes but you'd be better off sending it to Microsoft first

Yeah, you can buy an arcade and use the hd of your premium. I personally would recommend getting a 60gb pro because it's a lot more storage for only $100, but it's up to you what you want to get.

Huh, what are you talking about? It would have cost over 100 dollars to send it into Microsoft so they could fix it. Why the hell would I do that? I wouldve rather voided the warranty and gotten an extra year out of it by fixing it myself then send it in and not be guarenteed itd be completely fixed. I just want to know if I can buy a damn arcade 360 and put my hard drive on it.

Theyre not going to do anything with it. Plus I never put it back together so all its insides are exposed, pretty useless now lol.

And I just remembered Arcade versions are wired and I want wireless because all my stuff is wireless so I guess Ill just have to get the Pro

I also thought that as well. I know the elite and pro have wireless controllers, but I really thought the arcade was wired. I could never see myself getting an arcade anyways though, even if my current one died and I needed a new one, I'd just get a 60gb pro or 120gb elite.
