The controller that came with my 360 is starting to have problems...I think.

The right analog stick is the problem. When I push it in one certain direction, it stays there, not returning to the center. It is not that big of a problem atm because the analog stick is easliy put back to the center where it belongs. However, Im still wondering if it will get worse, to the point that it will effect my gaming. I was playing Gears last night and I didnt have any problems so it cant be that bad.

So, my question is, Does the controller that comes with the 360 have a warranty?

I doubt it, but $50 for a new controller is a lot of money if this controller goes south

Also, Id like to metion that I have only had the controller and 360 for about 7 months now. I thought my controller would last longer than that.

Sorry if post was to long:P

it depends on the problem, they shud have 12 months warranty in the uk. but with something like the analogue stick staying in a direction when u move it and not going back to the dead zone most shops wud probally assume this has to do with the way you used to the kit rather than a fault with the pad. say if a button stopped working or when u moved the stick to the left it never registered then they wud probally replace it for you in the 12 months. but if the analogue stick gets stuck in certain directions odds on its what you done or someone else done to it that made it go like that and most places will probally not be keen to use the warranty on damage that cud of been done yourself
