I have owned a 360 since NOV.2005. I got caught up in the PS3 hype and Went to purchase 1 on day 1. I have learned 2 things. 1st - the 360 is king. I dont care what anyone say's. It is top dog this gen. 2nd - the only people trying to buy a used PS3 are game stores or pawn shops. I mean I was offering it for $500 with 2 controllers and 4 games and could not sell it to any of my friends. I now own an Elite 360. The video is great. The Hd is comparible to BLURAY sort of. well for upscaled video it's darn close. I have not bought the HD-DVD add on, but I will around x-mas. I still love BLURAY movies. They do rock. But that's it. I am finally happy with 1 machine and can say that it's only worth investing all that money on 1 machine. For this gen, it's 360. ( last gen I had the xbox.)
First, I'm gald you love your 360. I'm right there with you. But for you to say that the video is comparable to BRD, now that's absurd. Upscaled video compared to HD-DVD and BRD is completely a level BELOW the two HD movie formats. So, my conclusion is; 1. You haven't seen what a great transfer to HD-DVD/BRD looks like, compared to ANYTHING else. or 2. You're trolling.
Again, I'm right there with you on loving the 360.
My only deal with liking the 360 so much at the moment is the fact that there are so many good games coming out in just the next few months and! there are some really good games to play now. XBL is the bomb! The other systems need to learn from what Microsoft has done with online, oh wait? This is thier second console with XBL. Damn! They still havent learned yet? Bummer!
Whatev. I have both systems & wouldn't give up either. Your loss.
And saying that HD-DVD is comparable to BR makes me :lol:

So true. I have Casino Royale for my PS3, it's friggn intense. I opted not to go for HD-DVD at the moment, but I saw it at my friend's. It's good, but not in the same league at all.
