As the title states, my 360 has recently ran into a problem of freezing up at random times. It started while I was playing the Dirt demo, and since then I have not been able to play a game for more than 2-3 minutes. When this first happened, I had the Pelican intercooler attached to the 360, and I was displaying the games on my monitor via VGA. Although my 360 freezes with this setup, others have since brought theirs to my house and attached them using the same setup. Also, I moved my 360 into my cool (temperature wise) basement and used just the stock cables without an intercooler. The freezing persisted even when I removed the hard drive from the 360. At this point, I am out of ideas, and am thinking about just sending it in for repairs. Is this issue something that Microsoft will pay to fix, and will using an intercooler somehow void my warranty? Also, do any of you have ideas on what I could possibly do to fix this situation?ILostOnJeprody
now what could you possibly do....hmm..lets see..
Call Microsoft or buy a new one
Yeah, I'll have to call Microsoft, I guess I was just hoping that I was overlooking something.ILostOnJeprody
no your xbox is about to die on you. save the money youll need for a new one and call MS to have it repaired ASAP
Ask one of your friends if they're buying a 360, or if they have bought one recently. Tell them to switch consoles and go back to the store and tell them it freezes and they'll exchange it. It may seem dishonest, but it really isn't. Think of it this way, the store will send the faulty console back to MS and the process will be the same. The difference: New console > refurbished and 15 minutes is way better than having to wait 3 weeks.gp19
or you could do that:P
