my cousin was playing gh3 on my 360 and the console was in the middle of the floor. i walked by it and accidentally kicked it (it didn't fall over though) and it made a weird loud noise for a few seconds almost like something got jammed for a second. the game still played fine after that but i was wondering if this might possibly affect it negatively in the future?

Actually you might've scratched the disc while it was inside the 360. You probably moved the disc inside while it was working. The same thing happened to me and the disc got a huge scratch but still worked fine. If anything goes wrong just return it. That is if you still can.....

It was probably the disc, which might have been knocked slightly out of position for a few seconds. Check the game disc, look for scratches. It may not have caused scratches, though.

If it wasn't the disc, and a piece of hardware got knocked around, but it works fine now, I don't think you'll have any problems because of it, but you might.

Arg, ninja'd again! ^

i just checked and the disc does have 2 scratches on it but the game played fine. i don't know if i can exchange it, i got the game from bestbuy the day it came out but if it ever stops working i have one of those disc scratch fixers.

yeah you can somehow exchange it if you feel a scratch is just too much, just say that it's stopped working and i need a new disc.

Best buy is a big business, a game is nothing to them. :)

it was probably the sound of your 360 getting f*cked up after kicking it.(hint:note the sarcasm)

My 360 made a weird noise after I accidently dropped it into a volcano. Anyone know if this will negatively affect it in the future?
