My dad has a release system. I got mine in 2006 I hardly play it and I'm on my 6th replacement. My dad plays more than me and his is still going strong.

I've had mine since the Christmas before last and it got RROD after the first six months, Microsoft needs to find a permanent solution to the 360's hard ware problems instead of just temporarily fixing individual 360's. Hell, once this extended warranty expires I'm going to have to by another one even though Microsoft knows the 360 is going to break.

Actually. You can pay them to repair the console for you out of warranty.

But I wouldn't have to if they would just fix this dilemma. Why sell a system they already know is going to break?

They didn't know. Just give up Xbox360 if you are so fed up with it. Bad sales is one way MS will learn from their lesson.

But now that they actually do know don't you think they should actually work towards fixing it and replacing all broken models? Sure, doing so wouldn't be cheap but it be better than having their customers lose faith in their product. I guess you are right, no use crying over spilled milk.... or wasted money.
