Unfortunantely other people do think the game is repetitive but in my opinion it is actually less repetitive than most other shooters like Halo, FEAR, and CoD 2. I happen to love the game and it is one of my favorite shooters right now.
Gears is definitely a good game but it does get very repetitive due to the lack of host customization options and gametypes. I can never get really into it for more than a week or two at a time.
It was an overyhyped games that only delivered on co-op and graphics. Thats just not enough to play for hour apon hours. MP was boring and really annoying. So I hate the game too. I hate it when people can't open their minds and find other games that are just as good and sometimes even better..Yea I understand..not everyone can afford new games all the time but c'mon.
I would definitely agree that it's VERY repetitive. Although I must say that the online multiplayer is really addictive and really fun. I still can't wait for Halo 3 though.
id say the artwork on the game is amazing, the way they portray stuff, but the gameplay itself is just using a shotgun and using your chainsaw. online is glitchy and boring after a couple matches in my opinion
and its definetly not worth a 9.6 id say somewhere in the lower 8's especially since there isnt even a story to the game. but its the same thing as halo was for the original xbox, fans were dying for a good exclusive title and they hyped it up enough for everyone to like it
I agree with him... sorta, I just don't see the point in buying it for $60, I'll pick it up when it's 30. Maybe cause I dont like that multiplayer I dont know. But yes it is repetetive.

I dunno I never really got into the game. The other day I traded it in b/c I just didn't find it appealing anymore. The visuals were very impressive and multiplayer was alright, but overall the gameplay in my opinion was lackluster and too slow paced for my tastes... I'll take Rainbow Six and GRAW any day over Gears of War...

I beat it as well but something about it just makes me keep coming back. I like ramping up the difficulty and playing it again and again..... Thats funny that you like ghost recon, I didnt really enjoy it at all. Different styles I guess :)
