My cat broke my 360 :(

I was getting ready to play the COD4 Beta and I accidentally hit Open Tray from the dashboard. My cat, who was on a chair, jumped and then slinked toward the open tray. I opened and closed the tray a few times and he would bat at it every time it came out. I was throughly amused. So I open the tray again and the cat jumps and throws his whole body onto the try and it breaks off. I don't think cat attacks are covered under warranty. But at least it doesn't affect my ability to play the COD4 Beta :) I think I'll just buy a drive on the net and try to replace it myself. As for the cat, I think he'll have to go for a few days without food. I kid, I kid!

My cat hasn't shown a lot of interest in my 360. She loves the Wii though. She always rushes towards it when i eject a disk, so i have to be quick so she doesn't scratch it by accident.

Do it if you are ok with voiding your warranty. Your 360 will get the RRoD some day, no doubt about it. You can either get a replacement drive with a 360 that will break at any time or you can just buy a new one. Which is what I would do.

Actually what I would do is keep everything you have that works and buy a console only on ebay. But I would definately not do the replacement drive. And buy a dog.
