I'll take any metal band over MCR.
people's definitions of emo are skewed... everything is emo now... whatever, ignorance is bliss I suppose. Music is music, I don't deny myself a chance to listen to some great songs just because I don't want my stupid friends to think I listen to some genre. That's very middle school.
anyways, I love the song pack, Famous Last Words and How I Disapere are really fun to play as, and since Famous Last Words has over 1000+ notes in the medium difficulty I can smell that 1000 note streak achievement coming. Anyways, while Teenagers is my favorite song of the 3, the fact that its pretty bare in guitar is evident while playing it.

Agreed. I get called "emo" or "scene" because I look the part, but I really don't like any so-called "emo" bands. Music and fashion shouln't be considered "emo". The music you listen to and the way you dress doesn't make you emo. Pretty much every song ever made evokes some sort of emotion, be it rap or rock. To call one group of musicians "emo" is sorta lame.

Any group of people who conform to look like each other get called something. The people who get all touchy for being called emo, aren't exactly helping their case.

Who conforms to anything? Last time I went to buy clothes, I bought what I wanted because I like it, not because it was the "cool" or "uncool" thing to do. It's people that call others "emo" or "scene" that are putting other people in these categories. That's kind of middle school thinking. I mean, just because I work out and have muscles doesn't mean I'm a jock or I'm trying to be a wrestler or something. Slapping labels on others is certainly middle school education thinking.
I don't mind getting called "scene", because it doesn't bother me. I am fashionable and fine with it.

If a lot of people dress in all black, circulate between 3 different jet-black hair cuts, and are constantly whining about society, then they should be expecting to be associated with a group name.

See, that's a generalization. I have shaggy brown hair, so that doesn't pertain to me. But you're going off and setting people into groups because you're making a generalization about a large group of people. I know people that aren't considered anything in the way of labels, yet they complain about society and the government. Anyone can be emo, it isn't attached to a fashion or musician.

I think you are confused. You just described kids that listen to **** metal and goth crap. I feel really sorry for morons like you who so closed minded and probably listen to new rock and new metal which is no better than new rap or new pop music. The vast majority of music that is played on the radio today is so shallow and horrible it makes me ashamed to call myself American.

Go listen to something that takes talent, like Necrophagist, cryptopsy, Arsis, Children of bodom, Iron maiden, Amon Amarth, Frank Zappa, Joe Satryani, yngvie...those are all great bands that are technicaly extremely good mucisians. MCR FTL. :/levi895
i don't know if you play guitar, but ifyou did you would know that technical music isnt the only talent in it, making music that is catchy takes just as much if not more talent tons of people are crazy at guitar but it takes being able to make something catchy that makes you good. ex. blink 182, easiest guitar ever but it sounds good and that is what counts not to mention the difficulty in making something that sounds good
How does My Chemical Romance tie in with the 360 forums? Oh yeah that's right, IT DOESN'T! Xbox 360 = games, MCR = music, take this crap and talk about it somewhere else...Digital_DJ_00
Cause this is a downloadable song pack for Guitar Hero 2, so it does tie in. :|

Agreed. Seems like people will overpay for any mainstream garbage that comes up now.

I listen to new rock and you're the one defending MCR? Yep, sounds like you have a strong case.
BTW I listen to technically skilled musicians, ex. Les Claypool.
I like "good" rock such as Queen, Twisted Sister, Van Halen, and many others back in the 80's. Now Rock just plain sucks... I refuse to listen to the radio, I RARELY turn on the radio in my car cuz all that's on it is complete crap. Digital_DJ_00

Compare MCR's guitarists to other bands in the game. It's a crime to have Buckethead and MCR in the same game.TM_Darksideidontthinkthatguyevencountsasaguitarist

Anyway, instead of arguing over MCR, how about argue over how crazy paying $2+ per song is. Horse armour anyone?
