Call up Microsoft and ask them to give you the reason for being banned.
There's really not much you can do if your console is banned from live.
thank you for help me but i live in iran and here is not x360 coustumer from microsoft i cant buy another xbox 360 because here xbox 360 is very expensive. i buy my premium counsole 8000 RLS = 800 dollars . plz help me . have i another way to solve this problem?
Well if its your actual console that is banned from Live then you really can't do much except play offline.
If it's you Gamertag that's banned then just wait for the ban to lift or make a new gamertag.
Modd means that your system is modded or modified which allows you to play copied or should we say pirated games. If you have copied games running on your system, then that's the reason why your 360 got banned.
if you got it in the middle east, i'm not positive, but it's probabaly modded. Burnt games are huge there and you need a modded console to play them. So bottom line, get a new console and make sure it's not modded. you won't be able to play burnt games but you will be able to play online.charx2
Actually, I'm currently living here in Saudi Arabia and you're right. Most of the 360 units here are modded which used a mod chip. But now, units here are modded through flashing and now it passes XBL detection and still play burnt (copied) games...tough luck MS.
To the TC, just buy a non-modded unit or demand from the store to give you a refund for selling you a modded system if you're really after XBL. HTH.
If you got banned because its modded then tough luck, but you shouldn't be using a modded console.
Saying that it is really expensive isn't a valid excuse for essentially stealing games.
Ferraris are really expensive, but I doubt the judge would be forgiving if I stole one on the grounds that it was too expensive for me to buy, but I wanted it anyway.
YES you right about that . my counsole is modded . and my games are copy. i dident know that . if i did know that i dont buy a modded counsole . but i did connected to xbox live and play online about 5 month and its happened now . why its dident happened first day i connected to xbox live gold and this dident happened first day that i charge my account with credit card ?
Modded consoles are autodetected by software. Sometimes it takes a while for the software to find you, but in the end it always does.
Frankly, there's nothing you can do. A modded console is going to be banned forever, no question about it. Modding your console is a clear violation of the terms of use that you digitally signed up to when your credit card was charged. You broke the rules that you agreed to follow, now you're paying for it.
For the record, it has nothing to do with you being Iranian. The rules are the same for everyone all over the world. If you were a US citizen using a modded 360 in Kentucky you'd have a lifetime ban right now too. Expecting you to follow the same rules as everyone else is, by definition, the exact opposite of oppressing you. You had exactly the same freedom to buy a non-modded console (I have a friend in China who specifically asked for a non-modded console - they do exist in other parts of the world) and follow the rules like everyone else, and you freely chose not to.

Yes but its a cycle, the hackers beat MS, then MS get them back until the hackers do something new. In other words, its not a good idea, especially software flashing. Please Log In to post.
