All the Elite has is a bigger Hard Drive and HDMI ports. Other than that it's exactly the same so if you want the equivalent of the Elite get a 120GB Hard Drive and you'll be sorted.Robot_Vampire
The problem with that is that the 120gb HD is at a rediculous price. Ill just delete demos and its not like u actually own any of the movies u get from the marketplace.
If you aren't a 360 owner already, the Elite is the obvious choice if you're buying right now. You get another connection option, bigger hard drive, and a different color console.Â

Those are all +'s to me. If it were my decision as a first time buyer, I'd definitely get the Elite. $80 more than the Premium, and you get all that. It's a no-brainer, or so it seems.
Â
If you've already purchased the Premium, and need the hard drive space, buy a 120GB hard drive (there is a specific make and model for $80), and use the recently released tool to enable it for your 360. The only thing you won't have is the black console, and accessories, but you've paid the same thing. Â
I know some people are just buying it because it is black.ag1002thats one of my reasons to buy one. also, i know hdmi doesnt make a HUGE difference but on my 37" vizio the vga port has limited picture adjustments compared too hdmi or component. i cant even use the presets. plus, im a huge fan of the XBLA. i have every game realeased too date.
HE works at walmart and today he phoned me that he had got one. He already has the premium to. So he wanted to compare them so we put them both on his 52 inch sony tv. I cant even notice the difference..... I dont even think its worth it.Cornerstore
And who said you would see a difference ? Are you even serious about this thread, or is this one of those self ownage threads ?
