My game is terrible! How do I pick up chicks over xbox live?

I'm not that good with chicks. They think I'm strange and some have even commented on how I smell! :oops:But I have talked to some lovely women on xbox live mostly in poker but i always ruin it by saying something corny. How do I do better with the ladies?
