I've been a LIVE member since October 2007 but my profile still only has a 1 next to it. What gives?

it won't start over. Major Nelson stated that it won't start over. it's just a cumulative number of years of how long you've had gold.

I've been a member for 6 years but my GT has a 5 on it. It really doesn't bother me.

Just want to add that those trial cards don't count, but the paid cards do.
