Guys I am in love with MP, SP just bores me so much. I mean I played Mass Effect and forced myself to finish it. I think the action and getting lost every minute was so boring. The action was okay but boring. The only thing that kept me going was the great story. I wrote a review but I think I only gave it an 8.5 because I forced myself to like it too try to make myself feel like I liked a good SP game. I also hated Bioshock I cant figure out why. Im right now getting into Timeshift hopefully that will help me out. I also liked Condemmned so hopefully the 3nd wont dissapoint. I hate Zelda games which I think is pathetic. I guess theres nothing you guys can do im just angry at my taste in games. I mean Halo, GeoW, CoD4 I all love because of MP and can play there SP for about an hour until I have to go back online. O well I guess ill just keep trying to force myself through "good games".

I kind have a similar problem, sometimes SP games can feel isolated when compared to playing MP with real people etc. I use to never play MP, but once I started it became addictive. I still like SP though, but I usually spend more time in a games MP.

You're the new generation of gamer.

People about 17 and older seem to usually like multi-player more.

I just play an equal amount of both. That fixes the problem. Besides, play what you like. Not what everyone tells you to like. For instance, I've been told I HAVE to like Gears of War. Rented it...thought it was so-so, but then I realized I was forcing myself to like it.

you mean 17 or younger right?:P

anyway i think thats acurate. I grew up with single player games and started playing online or over LAN at age 16 or 17 or so. and now it depends on my mood if Im gonna play SP or MP. I do enjoy games like Zelda, Bioshock and Oblivion alot. but I also enjoy MP games like Halo COD and Gears alot so yea Im kinda 50/50 on this

Play games with co-op. Best of both.

I'm not sure Timeshift is going to cure your "single player blues". That game is awful. :)

If you want to get your sp fix, get lost odyssey. If you don't get into that game I just don't know what to tell you except you are the new generation of gamer as someone said before. I'm 16 and grew up on the SNES and PS1 ever since I was 2, so I love a good single player game, but I also love to play online now.

Yeah I am 23 and grew up on SP only. When the N64 PS1 and PS2 were released, no one was even thinking online play. co-op with friends sure. But the online MP never came to mind. it wasnt until I was about 15 when I started playing Starcraft over the web. Thats when I got really hooked. I still like SP and MP, but I do seem to play more MP than SP as of recent (probably because my wife makes me play halo lol)

I enjoy my single player campaigns immensely, however, I am completely addicted to co op and/or multiplayer.... with good company of course;)

Im going on 22 and have never really been a fan of SP games. Although i think this is because me and my brother always played everything together. I mean we had a N64 over a Ps1 just for the fact it had 4 controller ports. So ive pretty much always been all about the MP.
