4 Consoles? Had you not said that I might have believed you as well. Plus if you just bought it yesterday why not just take it back to the store where you bought it and get a new one? Why the thread? 99.9% of us could care less. If you have gone through that many consoles there is something about YOU that is a problem, either that or you have really bad luck.

Trading a 360 in for a Wii is just silly, that is like going from a Ferrari to a Scion.

He just bought it yesterday, take it back to the retailer not Microsoft. Otherwise you will end up with a refurb, versus a new one from the retailer.

OK i am going to take it back to the store and get another Elite.

Guys, don't start fighting or accusing each other over something like this, i got a xbox 360 my self (premium however) and i can tell you that I've never had so many problems with a console over the last half year. Xbox 360 ain't known for having the most superior durability, i also sometimes regrets buying the 360. And Wii is also alot of fun by the way, so it certainly won't be a bad replacementDoomZaW

I've had my 360 for 18 months and still no problems (still on my first xbox), and the Wii is BORING. I have one and never played it for over 3 months. There is no good games for it at the moment (untill SSBB comes out).

Why can't anyone spell "lying" correctly lol?! But anyway, I believe he is telling the truth, but I think it is stupid of him to abandon the 360 instead of just exchanging it at the store. And I also must add, I have a Wii and 360, and 360 is way better. I hardly ever play my Wii.gamerfreak13

lol i just shipped off my second defective 360 to MS... I keep it in the basement and its always below 60 in there... All 360's are defective, whether you like it or not

You went through 4 xbox 360's? dude heres some pointers

*do not HIT your 360

*dont move the 360 with a game or dvd inside it!

*if its more than 89 degrees in your house do not play it for more than a few hours,it will over HEAT!

*dont stack anything on the 360

*dont put your 360 in a vertical position

*dont put the 360 on anything that can make it over heat (carpet and some metals can make it over heat)

*keep the side vents clear so it can vent the 360

*again never ever hit your 360,even if you lost a Geow match it might mean you suck which is not your 360's fault!

so if you follow these rules your 360 should last tell the next xbox system and if you cant follow these simple guide lines go outside and play with a rock and some sticks!!!

my xbox went in for repairs for the first time iv had mine from the day it came out and thats only because its in a new room with no vent shaft so if u dont have 1 just keep your windows open if u do u probly played on it too long and melted the chip in itdalafor

Wow, that's like the world record for fastest broken console. Before you try to deal with those retards over at Microsoft, take it back to where you got it, then try Microsoft, that's all I can say. And for those of you telling him to ventilate his 360, how is that going to help him now?!?
