my solution for live being down and not being able to recover

if your gt is active at someone elses xbox, which is my scenario, get a memory unit and transfer your gt onto the memory unit and bring it back to your 360 hard drive. opinions? will that even work, before i shell out 40$ for the memory unit?

are you sure because ive seen things done where people transfered files from the HD to the MU.

I believe you can, it's like the way where you dont have to recover your account every time you are in a new console.

Edit: no you can't, well I mean you have to be lucky, i just had that problem and I could recover after 20 times trying and at midnight or something like that, i mean you can but you have to try it many times until you recover

thats the problem, i cant rcover it. every time i try it says that signup is not available or something and wont let me fully recover it
