My thoughts on Bioshock Demo...Just finished it

Ok, so let me start off by saying, if you were hoping for 45mins-1 hour, then you're out of luck, with cutscenes, MAYBE 40 mins.

Anyways, first off, the graphics are phenomenal, very detailed models, textures, and environments.

The combat is very good, and the A.I. is really well done in this. The only plasmid I used was the electro one, and it was cool, but I was hoping to get my hands on some others, who knows, maybe there are others in the demo.

One thing that I feel could get annoying in this game is the cameras though, everytime they see you that VERY annoying flying mech comes at you guns ablazing, I find these very annoying.

Overall I would so far give this game a 9.3/10

I've finished it aswell :) The part where the plane crashes thru the glass tunnel was AMAZING and HOLY GOD the graphics are almost PERFECT. The only thing bad I can say about it is that sometimes I found it hard to hear the radio transmissions from Atlas,(usually because I was busy electrobolting some mother f'er wearing a cat mask :|) Other than the sound issue, the gameplay was FLAWLESS.

On a sidenote, did any1 find any plasmids other than Electrobolt/Incinerate? I kinda rushed thru the demo out of excitement so i'm scared i missed something :(

This game has more then convinced me to buy it. I'll admit that I was on the fence about it, but I'm absolutely going to buy it now. The only thing I worry about is how long it is. I always hate getting a new game and it's over in only a few hours. Regardless, I will buy it. Simply stunning.nyc05

i read a review that the producer said the game last about 20 hours, and is considerably longer than most fps

The incinerate plasmid is soo awesome :Darab_prince
