My thoughts on Oblivion

this game sucks. I dont understand the hype on this game. I was very dissapointed seeing as i bought it for fifty dollars. I think the repetitive fighting was kinda fruity. Can anyone please explain to me how u can possibly waste your life away being a oblivion gamer! Is two worlds gonna be like the same thing? I hope this game kicks some major booty! I really hope two worlds or mass effect fufill my desire for the ultimate rpg... no what im saying foo?

....well...Oblivion, while somewhat lackluster in direct combat, made up for it with a great storyline, many side quests, customizable options, and many other great things. And the combat was pretty fun if you're stealth/magic or both. So I do not understand what you speak of. Shivering Isles was also great, Sheogorath is the funniest NPC I've seen in a game. Except maybe for the Rabbids.

first time i play a elder scrolls game, and it was awesome.
i love oblivion and most RPGs.

seriously if you didn't like oblivion, how you will appreciate two worlds?
mass effect has shooter elements, so in few words, that should attract a lot of people, even non RPGs gamers.

i dont see how u can rag on this game...and i dont see how u can expect other ppl to agree with u...

although i gotta say....the fighters guild quests suck in oblivion...as do the theives guild....but thats as far as i go when it comes to shunning this game.

i personally don't see how you find the combat fruity and repetitive. theres no greater pleasure than hitting a goblin with an arrow and blowing it away about 30 feet. i don't see how you could not like it. is it because your dieing or something. explain why you dont like it better so i can understand why your not gettting into this great game.den1233

I love the fighting system and the game as a whole. Calling it "fruity" means you don't have a taste for rpg's like the Elder Scrolls series.solidsnake2050

well how far are you? because it does kinda suck in the very begginning but once you start the tremendous amount of side quests the game can be really fun. IMO this game is one of the best RPGs i have ever played.

eh...boring??....i spent well over 100 hours on that game..as have like...239582304009 ppl in this world....

i guess they just have alot of time on there hands...

I too have spent over a hundred hours on it. I love the game. I have just a few more quests for the Dark Brotherhood, then I'm done with the guilds.

Anyway, I think Oblivion could have been better. Had they kept the feel and depth of Morrowind and changed (as they did) the combat and journal system, this game would have been perfect. And for you Morrowind fans out there, when I mention combat, I mean the fact that you can appear to hit a character but really miss, versus Oblivion's you hit every time, just with varying amounts of damage.
