No I'm not getting it because I didn't play the other 2. If I had played the other two I would probably get it, but I'd rather buy some new games then retrace some that I missed.092093
I would have to agree. But if u havnt played it, i really would encourage u too because it would actually feel like a brand new game. But for me, it just seems kinda the same.
Well, im sure there has been many topics about people and there view on Halo 3. Im pretty sure a lot of people will share the same view as I do on Halo. First off, I think Halo is truely, a fun game. Im very excited that they finally decided to add co-op this year. But I kinda feel that when I played the Halo 3 beta, that I'm playing the same old game that I fell in love with for the Xbox. But this time, with better graphics, new vehicles, maps, online co-op,armor custimization, and the ending to the story which many people know and love. Sounds like a lot of new stuff huh? But my problem, is that it feels exactly the same. Thats where I feel Gears of War 2 will fall short, because I just don't see how it will be a different game, I believe that it will be more of a Gears of War 1.5, if all they can really change is the weapons and maps. Back to Halo 3. I'm not saying that Halo 3 will recieve a bad rating, or score, and I'm not saying that people won't like the game. I'm pretty sure I will enjoy it. But to really surprize me, I think they need to kill the master chief off at the end of the game (I'm not saying that I want that. But I don't believe the fight will ever be truely finished unless the masterchief is dead from sacrificing himself to save the world or something. lol) I guess, I'm not sure what I'm really saying, but I feel that in order to make this game truely memorable, its going to have to be the story. I am a huge fan of online games, but I already feel like I've been there and done that about a million times from Halo 2 combined with the Halo 3 beta. Unless they added like 16 vs 16 multiplayer, that would bring me back a quite a bit because that is something completely new, and Halo hasn't tried being a huge shooter like that.I was really happy when I saw that you could adjust everything about the player speed, gravity, and so on in custom games. That made Halo 3 feel a littlerefreshing playing it in a different way.I am looking forward to online co-op , they really should have had that in Halo 2 though. I guess, let the flame mail replies come my way now!!!! lolSystemaKid16 v 16 multiplayer would be too many players.

not on a big enough map. but right to my knowledge, a big enough map dosnt exhist.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
There isn't another FPS that "feels" better to play, IMO, than Halo. I would hate to pick up Halo 3 and it feel different. I just want new content.
BTW, just reserved my copy today at lunch.
Of course it is going to feel like the same game, its a sequel, how can it not feel the same if it isn't a sequel?cool_baller
i would like it to be 3rd Person cause i like them better but whatever its da best FPSJaSoN-SpAtZ
Nothing like a good "3rd person first person shooter". I hate games like R6 where all people do is wait around corners, camping, because they have over-the-shoulder view.
