These should work....

1.Don't play for 4hrs straight....and get a life lol.

2.Keep the xbox 360 away from the wall, for ventilation(at least leave a decent space between the 360 and wall)

3.Buy or if you have a stackable shelf, that is like a plastic shelf that is like a cage type shelf, put the xbox 360 on top on in the middle so it can ventilate through the top, bottom, sides, and back.

4.Buy or put a fan (not a xbox 360 fan you attach) a normal fan Aline it with the xbox 360,and turn it on slow.

5.Enjoy (and tell me what you think about this )

thats ok but you can play it for longer. ive had mine (a refurb) for about 8 months now, its a 06 model. and i play for a bout 6-8 hours a day in the holidays for a week. and even during college term time i play for about 4-6 hours a night. the shelf idea is good though.

I read in this forum about some people who leave their 360 on constanly like a PC. For weeks at a time. They had gotten a RROD and were afraid that they'd get another one if they turned off their console. Yeah, that's smart.

Hmm, let's just try this one:

1.) Use common sense!
