My xbox 260 wont read my games! what can i do?

when i have a game in my xbox 360 it says open tray so i open tray and re close it and after that it says reading than go's back to saying open tray. What can i do? or do i have to ship it to microsoft?

Oh no, another open tray error. Go to Youtube, search there for "open tray." You'll see how-to videos. Watch a few that show how to knock/smack on the top of the xbox above where the disc-drive is. This is a temporary solution. Don't knock too hard. Eventually you'll have to send it in. This has happened because you moved the xbox while it was turned on with a disc in the drive, dont do that anymore.
