I know every 360 can break or watever, but I decided to make list of tips:

1.Keep 360 in well ventilated room and keep out of enclosed spaces.

2.Do not place on carpet.

3.Do not place vertical (can scratch disks).

4.Do not use intercoolers.

5.Keep 360 and area around it clean.

6.Don't play for like 10 hours straight.

7.Don't go play football, baseball or any sport with it.Don't throw it out a window either...

8.Some people say it helps to place ur power supply over a box with the top cut off.Btw, I know that the 360 gives off heat too.

Bottom Line:All you can do is take good care of ur 360 and hope for the best.;)

Having your 360 vertical doesn't scratch discs!!!!!!!!!!!!

I played my 360 for 11 hours straight when I first got Bioshock. Guess what? No problems

My power supply never over heats.

My question for you is.....Do you even own a xbox?

The Xbox doesn't break because of the user. It breaks because the unit is defective. Worrying about it and going through a stupid list of steps is just ridiculous.

My answers:Yes, I own an xbox.I'm not one of those losers who disguise having some console they don't really have.I'll get a pic if u don't believe me.

I'll restate my tip about having it vertical. It CAN but doesn't mean it will scratch disks.

If you read my bottom line, I said all you can do is take care of it and hope for the best.End of story.

Yeah but then again even horizontal can scratch ur discs (youtube it). im not worried about disc scratching, eventaully any console will do that. 360s, aint "defective consoles. as crossfire says, just take care of them. But im sure throwing it out a window wudnt harm it o_O

A ventilated area .. I never understood what that means.. There's no storms going on in my living room or anything.

I agree that he is likely a troll. His list is not that great. But you should keep your console (any brand) cool by using common sense.

Well, the 360 is the only console you can't put in a tv stand or else it will break. lol

Please don't even try to compare the 360 to other consoles. We all know the 360 is "Special" so it needs it one little space with 5 ft of space around it in every direction. Right?

Sorry if I came off wrong on the first post. Not trying to be a jerk. :P

No, you're right.Just saying people shouldn't toss their PS3 out a window either.:)
