I've been enjoying my 360 for two years now but have always had pretty bad lag. After checking around the internet I found my NAT is strict but there is a way to open it and speed up my connection. I have DSL thats faster than most of my friends who have no lag issues and really want to know how to fix this. I've tried one guide but to no avail has anyone done this or have a good guide? I have a linksys WRT54GX2 wireless router btw.

Thanks in advance.

I get this on both my systems...
I use cable interenet and randomly my NAT type will change and become more restricted. I don't receive too much lag ever, but at times it will just disconnect me
idk what to say....

K thanks I looked on MS's website and my router isn't Live certified but apparently this doesn't matter if you switch around some settings.

All you have to do is set up port forwarding to your 360 for ports UDP 88 and UDP 3074. Check out a helpful guide on how to do this here: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54GXv2/Xbox_Live_360.htm

I tried the port forwarding but no luck yet. How do I access this UpNP through linksys?
