Am I the only one who is mad that Microsoft is bringing this out. Honestly I just want to be able to sit down and play my Xbox without having to jump around,Especially when I wake up in the morning and I'm still in bed! I know that they are going to still make regular games that involve the normal controller, howeverby the time the next system comes out its going to be almost completely based around the Natal concept if its a success. The other thing that bothers me about thisis how much room your going to need in order to play Natal. I don't think I'm the only person who doesn't have a comfortable amount of room inside of my bedroom in order to be playing this. Whatare everyone elses thoughts on this?

I have a wii for that, I hate everything about natal, this looks like a gimmick in every single way... I find funny how people said that playing with a pointer (wii) was retarded because you would have to move all the time and get tired and now everyone is excited about natal: the project that make you move in order to do all the things (contrary to how the wii works where you only need a small wrist move).

That is one of the funnier points, I often remember seeing post around here in 2005 and 2006 saying "I don't want to jump around like an idiot when I play games" Now its "Oh I cant wait for Gears of War Natal" lol oh fanboys, you crack me up. Anyway I don't see Natal getting any real substantial support and I really doubt it will cost 80 bucks. This is $100 wireless adapter MS were talking about here.

It is interesting for me as it opens up potential for entirely new genres, and vast makeovers of old ones, think of Black & White for an example, that could work out well, without having to flail around alot, or being a kiddie game

I just finished watching a review for that new Tony Hawk game....

Wow. Thats all I can say. Although its in a way a different concept from Natal. I still think that this is what we have in store from us.

I don't really know what to think about Natal. Everybody seems to be against it but we don't yet know how developers are going to implement them in games. Why all the hate? What if Natal actually delivered such a strong line up of games for both casual and hardcore gamers that it would be worth every penny. I understand that the Wii already exist, and that some people feel as if the movement towards full body control is a waste of time, but in the end we still cannot see the possibilities.

Why judge a book by it's cover? And in this case, why judge a book which has no cover. There isn't enough information about Natal for anybody to hate it. I'm sure a large majority of the people who "Hate it" might forget all about their hate if they pull off this project.

Natal is a stupid idea. It's just Microsoft ripping off the Wii. They already stole the idea for avatars (mind you they did it better than the Wii) and now with this Natal crap it's just them taking other companies ideas again. I for one won't buy Natal because I already have a Wii that I never play because the gimmick got old really fast. I'll stick to my regular controllers for gaming thank you.

As long as you're given the option to still use a regular controller, it doesn't bother me at all. What WOULD bother me is if I have to buy the Natal hardware to place the next Gears of War, Mass Effect, etc
