nba 2k10 demo

So guys i just played the nba 2k10 demo

and i must say Im not impressed at all. graphics were bad, gameplay felt down graded, character models were not good

I've been a NBA 2k fan since 2k4 and this game felt horrible.

I might actually miss this one man

i think NBA live will take this years crown between the two.

Im going to the Live side lol

lol, I am a lifetime Live player and I felt the same way this year. I finally got bored with s*** animations and gameplay and was about to try the 2k10 demo because I couldn't make it past half in Live.

ill just wait for some reviews..and decide then

and no the graphics are not great IMO

and i play with HDMI 1080 on Lcd screen

lives graphics has the uperhand

also did anyone notice the court has gotten bigger?

dude i don't know what you're talking about. the graphics are great. game plays smooth. the gameplay is amazing. animations are more realistic. commentary is improved. association is so much better.xkojimax

well dude! i havent played the full retail version. So i can be totally wrong.

all im saying is i think the demo was lame and i didnt enjoy it. Its my opinion.

I don't even know how you have it, and it has not even been released.

Like i said i will be waiting for reviews.

Don't be a jerk just cuz you got the full game, none of us know if the commentary or the association mode got better cuz we only played the demo.

I personally thought the game got better. Someone mentioned that the court seemed bigger and I've noticed that too. I think its a great change, that's one of the things I think 2k should learn from Live and they fixed it. The animations now seems smoother and more appropriate unlike 2k9's animations. I can tell that they've fixed some lame animations cuz one of the worst part of 2k9 was battling the animations. IMO, 2k9 tried too hard to be realistic with the animations sometimes I feel like I'm losing control of the game; 2k9 forces players to do certain moves in order to get a high percentage shot, but as a gamer, i want to do w/e i want in a game. But overall, after just playing the demo, I'd say I like where 2k10 is going. About the graphics, I played it in 1080p, i thought the graphics were definitely not terrible like someone said, but it isn't spetacular. Sometimes the graphics can be amazing, i.e. during freethrows, when they are showing the players.

Wow, just played the demo and hated it more than Live 10. F*** NBA games this year. I will stick with last year's product.

idk. i think 2k looks more realistic. Live looks kinda cartoony for some reason. the colors seem a little off. some of the trailers for 2k10 its hard to tell its a videogame on some parts. im thinkin of the trailer that shows derek rose.

How can you think the graphics don't look good? The player faces look GREAT! They used to be horrible! I was very impressed with the character models and the crowd is even better than last year which is really saying something! The gameplay isn't much different and I do prefer NBA Live 10's gameplay just a bit more because you have more control over your character, but 2K10 makes up for that in other areas. The AI is better overall (go for steals more is a big thing!) and the new animations for colision and driving to the hoop are really nice additions. Don't get me wrong, NBA Live 10 is a very good game and in all honesty, I would probably take it over 2K10 except for the fact that 2K10 has the Be A Pro mode which I have wanted FOREVER in a basketball game! Plus, I downloaded the 2K10 Draft Combine and it's really fun. I honestly think you can't go wrong with either game but your reasons for not liking 2K10 are weak at best.

I just got done playing the demo and i liked it, but i cant say to much about it cause i havent played a basketball game in a long time. Im looking to pick one up this year tho and i have been leaning towards 2k10 cause i hear the EA NBA games usually suck bad. So should i go with 2k game since i havent played it in a few years?

EA said they were going to step it up with LIVE 10 this year on the animations and realism. because kobe is on the cover of 2k10 im leaning towards nba live.
