Its good as long as you're playing... to me the most notable improvment is the contol, things seem tighter not so much 'skating'. Presentation is good too, alot of small, but noticable interaction between players and crowd reaction. But it means nothing as long as there's freezing issues.

NBA 2K8 was fantastic and after picking up 2K9 in Tesco (in store £35 online £25) i played a quick match and was blown away - This is a seriously good game. Graphics are great and the drives to the basket and layoff passes are far better than last year.

Then came time to go online ....

Oh god for the love of the lord what the devil are 2k playing at ? I havent managed to play an online game yet as my PS3 just freezes. I have to reboot my machine everytime. There arent any lobbys anymore either. Aparently they know about the freezing problems and are working on the servers to correct this. They best be bloody quick

I`m a huge fan of NBA 2K but if they cane sort out the online aspect soon i may have to consider going to the dark side and getting either NBA Live or NBA 09.

Also why no Trophies ? whats all that about

2k knows that this is happening and they are working to fix it. As far as onling lag goes try this:

that's stopped the 5on 5 lag for people...also, this thread has info about the ps3 patch and the 260 patch coming, always check back at the 2k boards for the latest news because they do a really good job of staying on top of people's messages.
