NBA 2K9/Live 09 new features question...

I just read something in a Gamespot article that implied NBA Live 09's new "NBA Live 365" feature won't be free. I'm assuming everyone knows about this feature. Does anybody know more about this? Also, does anybody know if NBA 2K9's similar features (Live Rosters, et cetera) won't be free as well? I'm really curious and concerned because these features are the games' selling points for me. If they aren't free, then I most likely won't want to get either of the games.

... Come on guys, somebody must know something about this. There's like 5 other topics in this forum regarding NBA Live 09/NBA 2K9, so I know people are interested about these games.

Both are free for these features. NBA LIVe 09 makes you pay $20 if you buy the game used or rent it . But if you bought it they give you a code and you can use the features for free. For NBA2k9 its free either way. Hope that helped.demon565

Yeah I like the more realistic games, and 2k delivers on that part. If you have seen the videos on the new A.I. its amazing. Plus lives players have some missing tattoos and stuff like that and that turns me off a bit lol.

Is it really? I've always been a Live fan and have never really gone into the 2K series. To me it seem like Live has been slipping, so I haven't bought it since 06; that's why I'm thinking of getting a basketball game this year, and getting 2K's instead of EA's. If you could also be more specific as to how good it is I'd appreciate it.
