but after last years craptacular release. I was so high on last year's release too. I hope they bring the franchise back to where it should be, make it fun again. No more robots please. I mean, that was the worst animation system I ever saw on the X360 for Live 07. So, please EA, get it right this year.

I have to admit, i had to look twice to make sure i was lookin at a game and not a real photo. Very impressive indeed:)

Glad it looks great, I'm hoping the game is as good as it looks, been looking for a good NBA game (I'm horrible at playing some of them mainly) with any luck it works out right.

Honestly not trying to flame here, but even if Live does improve it still has a long way to go to catch up to the NBA 2K series.  Lots of people, unfortunately, though by it every year simply because its an EA Sports release.  For those wanting a great NBA experience, they're already receiving it playing 2K.  Maybe if Live does make significant improvements it will make both games better.

The issue with NBA Live was never the graphics. I think most people would agree that the graphics and player models were better and more accurate in Live than in 2K7. It was the gameplay that was broken. I used to be a Live fanatic, but ever since their foray into the Next Gen, I've been turned off. Anyone who has played recent NBA Lives will know what I'm talking about. It is just unplayable. And I've tried to get into it, but I just can't.

Sorry, it looks good but 2k series NBA games are more fun and better, I used to be a huge Live fan but not anymore...2K7 still is my top 360 games that I play.  I'll still give them a shot, but it'll take A LOT for Live 08 to be better than 2K8 IMHO.

In a perfect world we would have an NBA game that takes the gameplay of 2K Sports and combine it with the graphics of NBA Live

yea i noticed that a little bit.  But regardless of how good it may look, the game is broken gameplay wise, the 2k series is much better.

I strongly agree!  I can't believe how much deeper and better the gameplay is in 2k7 than NBA live....I just got done in fact beating up on the Bulls...I was the PISTONS...sound familar to anyone?
