I dont know if the demo is 60 fps, but the game runs smooth. I mean real smooth. If its not and its 30 fps, the fiull game thats suppose to be 60 fps is gonna run bananas.
Aside from the smoothness (sounds funny I know) the graphics are ok but it seems lifeless. No announcers talking or commenting on the play. Probably just thedemothat has no announcing. Lord I hope so. The sideline players, coaches, assistants, etc look dead to me. The graphics overall look a bit on the cartoony side. The running animations look strange. U have to play the game to see what I am talking bout. Just looks funny. I like the new collision system. I see what they were talking about w/ the gamg tackles. Not bad. Not crazy but not bad. The new character animations when u get tackled and what not is nice.
Lil harder to pass though. U cant just throw up the ball and think yur receiver is going to catch it. U gotta be a lil more on point then NCAA 07. Playbook looks richer. More plays. Im still trying to figure out the save yur hughlight thing. After u do a big play u hear a camera snap and then see the replay. I guess in the full game there will be a pop up or something giving u the option of saving the play. The main menu looks good. Trophies, has yur highlights running in a big screen up top. Nice.
I dont judge games by their demo but, this demo is ok. Its not gonna blow yur mind but its a cool download if u into college football. Last thing. Demo indicates the qtrs are 2mins long. U play 4 qtrs but the 2mins seem like real 2mins, not that virtual mins some games use. Decent length for demo. And u only get to choose Michagan or USC.
I played 1 match and i thoughht it is good...
as the guy before me said it isn;t mind blowing but it is a clear improvement in graphics and animations.
colors look more vivid compared to last year game
Will be probably more enjoyable when there is going to be a tutorial on the new things u can do
Defenetly worth checking out...now waiting for 2k8
just got done playing the demo and i'm not saying that the full game will be the same but this felt very stiff and boring to me. I like the new animations, more wide variety of tackles and catches and what not but it felt like everything was moving slower.... i dunno, last years felt more frantic and fast paced and this one seems to slow it down somewhat, maybe i just hate the teams that you get to play as (michigan and usc, DIE USC!!)
but i do like the technical improvements, the defenses AI is really good, i tried just tossing the ball to a deep reciever with a safety hovering over and he picked it no problem and it's not as easy to use speed as an advantage to try and break outside as a running back, which is also nice, i've been trying to throw to the sidelines to see if the recievers get in but all my passes have been off the mark, overall it's an improvment but just feels a little slow
