So, I've been going through hell for the past couple of days trying to find some games to buy. Xbox and PS3 both, yes, but I'm focusing on Xbox right now. I narrowed it down to Super Street Fighter IV: AE and Hot Pursuit, though I just need a couple more. I'm into fighting, racing, shooting and adventure. I've been considering Mortal Kombat (I'm just not sure if it has good replay and unlockable content), to Skate 3, to Narutp: The Broken Bond. Yes, I love games with a lot of unlockable content, achievements, rewards, so on and so forth. I'm also not trying to spend a lot of money. So I'm sticking under $30. So my main focus is a game with either, unlockable content, online community, and/or replay value (I'm guessing it all simply comes down to replay value). Also, I already have CoD: Black Ops and MW3, so is it worth getting another FPS? Say, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Crysis 2 or Halo 3?

If you want a game for less than $30, and you want it to have alot of replay value and content, then pick up the Oblivion: GoTY Edition for $20 at Gamestop. It may not be a shooter or a racing game, but it will definately be worth it if you like to spend time with your games. Ive spent about 200 hours with Oblivion alone.

Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. Most seem to like New Vegas more, but I prefer Fallout 3. It's a an RPG with an interesting combat system, memorable characters, a good story, a big world to explore, and plenty to do. I've played through it twice, and on one playthrough I managed to get about 100 hours (although that was with some DLC).

I don't replay games that often, but this is the type of game that a lot of people go back to because of the different builds you can make for your character, and the type of character you can play as (will he be good, neutral, or bad?). Most people don't do all the sidequests their first time either.

That being said, New Vegas has more content per se, but I find the story and characters not as great in my opinion.

This is just a suggestion though. Make sure you look into the games before you go and buy them.

Re-reading your post, I'm not sure if you are that into RPG-esque games. I'd suggest Halo Reach also in that case. It has a lot more replayability than Halo 3 in my opinion, due to the ability to unlock aesthetic items for your Spartan, and also having a great database of Custom gametypes and maps, thanks to ForgeWorld. It has plenty of achievements to unlock too, and a solid online multiplayer. I have gotten over 200 hours in it, suprisingly enough. I preferred Halo 3, but for replayability, Reach beats it.

Reach is also a LOT more fun if you play with somebody. Going through the campaign with someone. getting the hard achievements together, and playing online or custom game modes is insanely better than doing it all yourself. Not sure if you would be able to do that though.

Battlefield doesn't blow Halo away. It's almost a completely different game. Yes, they are both shooters, but each has its strength and weaknesses. Your other suggestions are great though.

Battlefield 3 is 10 times the game Halo 3 ever was... Just saying.

LMAO. You wish man. I know everyone has opinions, but damn. Last I checked, Halo 3 has an excellent campaign AND multiplayer. Not to mention the 4 player Co-Op, Forge mode, and custom games as well. This all adds up to provide endless hours of fun. Battlefield 3 only has its multiplayer going for it. The Co-Op is meh and the campaign isn't good. Not to mention Battlefield 3 on the 360 is severely lacking compared to the PC version. Only 12 vs. 12 is NOT what Battlefield is about. Not to mention the horrible FPS at certain times and the fact that EA has virtually no official servers anymore. So now we have to wade through tons of custom crap servers that have way too many tickets and stupid rules.

I enjoy Battlefield 3, and it's a good game, but to say it is 10 times better than Halo 3...

The only reason I could see you saying that for is that you do not like the Halo franchise at all. Then it really isn't fair to begin with.
