Hey guys. Usually when i go online, i have to unhook my 360 from my big screen tvand bring it to my room and hook it to my computer and play on my small screen=(. I already had one 360 break on me, so i bought a elite but im to afraid to even touch it(because i think all that moving broke my previous one) So ihave about 40 bucks(might get more soon) and ineed to get a wireless router so i can play online without moving my 360 back and forth. Does anyone know a really good cheap router i can buy? Im dying to play on live.

Thanks in Advance.

Don't save money on the router. I have a cheap model of the dlink and it has a horrible habit of freezing. Then the connection to ethernet is lost. It's frustrating.

Guess ill save more money and get a good router. and also do you just need to hook up the ethernet cable to the router once you get it? or do you need a special wire?

Also anyone else have some good routers they would like to metion?

After you get the router you have to get a wireless network adapter and that runs 100 bucks at bestbuy. You're looking to spend at least 180 to get your xbox 360 online wirelessly if you don't have a router. I bought a 40 dollar dlink wireless router and it blew, then I upgraded to an 80 dollar one and it works great. Plus, the more expensive routers cover more of an area wirelessly, so if your tv is really far from your cable modem, the more you'll have to spend. If it is in the next room or real close, the 40 dollar router may work out for you. Hope that helps

i have a linksys also and i never had any problem with it. It was easy to setup, i was able to connect both my pc and i dont even know much about computers. It came with an easy to understand instructions. If u want a wireless connection to your 360 to play live theres a seperate item made for videogame system. Or u can just use a wire which is cheaper:)
