 A guy on my friends list just randomly sent me a message with a code for 1600 points, we are good buds, but just wanted to make sure, is there some way he can take my account if I redeem it or somethin?

Nope... if he gave you the code it's either going to work or not, if it does, it's yours - only tied to your gamertag... lucky you...

Nope... Not as far as I know... Unless he's a crazy hacker guy... And if he is... Then he wouldn't need the code to get into your account :P.

But in all seriousness... Just try it out.
