Need advice...cant play halo!!!!!!!!

I am using a 22" lcd monitor for my 360 to game with

borrowed halo 1 from friend to give a go cause i havnt played it before and i hear goog stuff about

so i insert the game and  do the update but it says that the vga wont support 50mgh pal

is there a way around this

You can't play Halo CE on a monitor. You need either an SDTV or HDTV to play it.

that's not true. I can play Halo 1 or 2 on my Monitor. (I don't know the answer to the TC's Q)

Just checked. It doesn't work for me. It says it doesn't support VGA, so I assumed it wouldn't work with anyone. If it does, the error message is quite decieving...

I'm not sure if it's your screen or the cable. Though i am using a MadCatz VGA cord. I am not sure if that will help you but hopefully you can get the problem solved because Halo 1 and 2 are games that shouldn't be missed.

It can't be the cable. I use the official Microsoft one. How would that be? 'Buy our VGA cable now! More expensive and you can't play all games on it! Yay!'

I don't think that's what it is. Probably either the gender changer (which I'm using) or the monitor itself.

found out that the vga cable only supports games which are 60mgh

halo 1 is 50 that why id doesnt work.....but is thire a way round thi problem like update or something?
