Hi i just got a tube hd tv from my friend. I have set the Tv to 1080i and my 360 to 1080i all the cords are plugged in coorectly and its set to hdtv on the cord switch.. But the edges of my screen are being cut off.. What to do

It's usually the display setting that's wrong. try changing it to a full screen mode, it's probably on a widescreen or stretch setting.

I was able to fix it but i had to drop the 360 display resolution to 480p widescreen it works now but my tv can do 1080i and 720p but the screen cuts off for some weird reason.. I know i can do them because i have tried all the resolutions from my 360 and the only one that doesnt work is the 1080p
