help me make my system connect, its not working, something with the IP address, whatever that is

Then you need to call 18004myxbox and ask customer service.You should give more information. Have you been able to connect before? Or is this a new connection? Based on what you said, the only advice I can give is to verify if your connection is "static" or "dynamic".
Dynamic is automatic and you don't need to enter an IP address.
Static requires an IP address (as well as DNS numbers, too.)
