You know your parents more than anyone on here does. Figure it out yourself. And if they cant be convinced then theres not much you can do about it, unless you play it at a friends or get your lazy self off the computer(im jm)and get a job so you can just go and buy it.
then wait a couple years until you're older... If your parents won't let you play it and won't buy it for you you'll have to wait or play it in secret. Allthough that wouldn't be worth it really.
Get a game you're parents will let you play. That could work. Allthough i guess it's tough on 360 with almost everything being rated M. Show them a super violent game you have (if you have any) and tell them it's way worse than halo.
If they can't be convinced, and you wouldn't be able to play it even if you bought it, then...tough luck? Move out? There are plenty of construction jobs around if videogames mean that much to you...
Minimal lanquage andthe usualviolence and you still cant get it? I could understand if you couldnt get GTA4 or Gears or something along those lines but not able to get Halo 3? Thats just pathetic, no offense.
Halo 3 is the most "over-rated" (mind the pun :D) games i've ever played. The same for its sequels too. The blood and gore isn't strong, (+Call of Duty 4 has got more language) I haven't heard an F-Bomb in Halo 3. Tell your parents that all you do is shoot up aliens who came to invade earth.
Halo 3 doesn't have any sexual references or foul language, and the violence is too cartoony and theres hardly any blood. If parents buy it for their friggin 7 year olds then let them loose on live so theres nothing wrong with a 15 year old playing.
Just say that it is like a Star Wars game, if your parents even let you watch a Star War movie or any pg-13 movie. If that still doesn't convince them then just show them some gameplay video with not that much blood splatter on the wall.
Just go to youtube, find a video a video of multiplayer and show them that this is all the game is. and compare games like GoW and H3 and show them that there's a diference.
well if you can't convince them, then tough luck. just say it's not really violent for an M game, maybe show them some videos online. explain that you're only shooting aliens and dudes in suits.

hes kinda right, u know ur parents the best. but try getting one of ur friends who look old to go and just buy the game for u if u care that much. or tell them its teaching u a good lesson by saving earth, and go into a long explanation on how you are saving earth and maybe theyll buy it so u shut up
Wow I didn't know anyone cared about ratings anymore. It shouldn't be a problem convincing your parents to get Halo 3 for you. Halo 3 should be given a lower rating IMO. The violence is minimal, no foul language at all ( I think ) and the blood is minimal as well. Show a vid. of a person chainsawing someone on GoW and compare that to a person shooting aliens in H3 and I think that that would make your point clear.
