Need Help on Gears of War I cant beat the Spider on act 3

Pissing me off now I cant beat that huge spider! How do I kill him I shoot and shoot he doesnt die! I worked out that shooting his stomach is the best bet but he just wont die!!!

yeah just shoot his belly and then his mouth(i think). then just destroy the bridge(or whatever that was) hope it helps

Just wait for it to raise it's legs, then shoot the soft belly part near the ground. It will then scream, so aim directly at it's face/mouth area. If you hit it, it will run backwards. Do this 3 or 4 times, and it will end up on a platform. There are 2 links that hold the platform to the rock. They have blue lights on them. Shot them both until they crack. The Corpser will fall into the emulsion.

You need to shoot it in its belly until it back up beyond the two clamps (big metal things on the ground), then you have to toss a grendae onto each of the clamps to kill it.
