my xbox was working fine about 20 min ago but our power just went out and my xbox 360 was still on at the time. i turned my xbox back on and it seemed to work fine the dash board came up and everything. i turned on my controller but my xbox didnt read it, i try connecting the two by holding down that button but they still wouldnt connect, i tryed my second controller and that didnt connect eaither?????, i then tryed my wireless adaptor and my xbox didnt pick that up either!!!!!!!!,,, i tought maybe it over heated but its cool now and still not working. sooo in a nutshell nothing is connecting with my xbox 360.

Yea, what it sounds like is a static discarge prob. What u need 2 do is take everything(hard drive, power cord, etc) off of the unit and then put them back on .WORKS EVERY TIME (happened to me twice)
