Man hacks are the little robotic things that fly around and make a very loud and obnoxious noise. They try to run it to you with their blades that are on their bottoms. I think they also have a red light on them when their attacking.

you could kill enemies with manhacks by using the gravity gun to throw the manhacks. should be easy enough:D

yeah I guess I never realized just how many games could have taken things from the half life franchise. yet it isn't as main stream as something like halo. Considering that in half life you fight aliens and then zombie aliens and in halo you fight aliens.....and then zombie aliens. I like halo and all but still after playing half life it really made me realize all the games that used it as inspiration. Oh and a tip for the manhack thing, Aim for the upper body parts around the head, cuz when I did it around there waist nothig really happened, but it is awesome taking dudes out with them.

The things in HL2 try to attack you with blades, can't recall if the blades are what also move them. The Bioshock bots just use helecopter blades to move around, but have a machine gun, which fits with the technology. So I think blades are just a coencidence. One might as well call HL2 blade bots a ripoff of the flying security bots in Halo 1.

Well said. Flying Security bots even go back a bit further if I recall vaguely. I remember those tiny flying scout ships with a head in them and two blasters from quake 2, not exactly security bots, but just as irritating heh. I know there's been others though I just can't recall their names or where they were from...
