Could anyone please help with a tech probalem on Xbox Live.  Upto a few days ago, my NAT was set to open and fine/  But for some reason, it's now moderate, and I've got no idea how to get it back.  I've already phoned xbox support and they weren't very helpful, so I'm hoping some of the wise memeners of this board may help.  Any help much appreciated, thx 4 reading.

If you have the money and no other option, buy a router and set it up specifically for your 360 and leave the router you already have for your other computers.

Huh, I didn't know this.  Maybe I'll wait a week or 2 before trying anything in case it's just that.  Thx 4 the info.

are you using a router to connect to the internet?

if you are... use this site: www.portforward.com.  find the router that you have, and then look up Xbox 360 Live.  the site will give you directions on how to properly open your port.

well to change you NAT settings back to open, you have to login into your router page and page it from there. If you have a linksys router, change the NAT settings to disable. that should work, or if you have any other type of router look for NAT and change it to open. that should solve your problem and get you fully connected to xbox live. If your 360 is connect right to the modem you have to call your ISP, and talk to either customer service or tech support. Tech support if you are able to change settings on it or customer service so they can send you a new modem with those settings in place. Hope i helped.
