my Gears of War dies on me (gives the error screen) for some unknown reason. There is minimal damage to disk. What's goin on?

that sucks dude, i beat the hell out of mine (disc is all scratched and the middle hole, the plastic is all flaking around the edges and it runs fine, dont no wat 2 tell u
