What's the link to the site where you type in the actual activation code? My xbox says to go to netflix.com/activate but when I go there, it redirects me to the netflix mainpage, and I don't see anywhere I can enter a code or anything about Xbox Live. Any suggestions?
I was able to access the Netflix activation page through that same URL a few hours ago.
My code doesn't work, though. I've tried over 10 times. Turn on 360, get code, turn off 360, input code on website, and I get a "CODE IS EXPIRED" message. Starting to get really pissed off.
Don't leave that screen on XBOX leave it on. Get the code. Go to the netflix activation site and enter code. Your XBOX will now connect to NEtflix (as long as you have an unlimited account with them).
THE TRICK IS WHEN YOU GET THE CODE DON'T EXIT OUT THIS IS HOW YOUR ACCOUNT ON NETFLIX WILL CONNECT WITH YOUR XBOX. IF YOU EXIT OUT OF XBOX THE CODE IS NO LONGER VALID. THIS IS WHAT I DID AND DIDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

I can't have both my 360 and my computer connected to the internet at the same time. The hell am I supposed to do?
my xbox is connected wirelessly, so I just went to my computer started the free trial with netflix, filled out all the information, THEn went to my 360 got to the password screen, and put the password in on the netflix link to activate the Trial... it's working fine for me..
If it takes you to main page, it is because you haven't finished setting up your account. You have to choose what trial you want and put in your credit card number. Then after you have done all of that, you will be able to go to the activate page.

If you don't want to get a router, you can just log into Netflix.com and put some movies or tv shows in your instant queue. Then you can disconnect your computer and connect your Xbox and go to your Netflix tab. The things you selected will be there. You don't have to be connected to both at the same time. The stuff in your queue should stay there until you remove it so you don't have to fill your queue every time you want to stream something to your xbox. Also, I had no issues getting my Netflix account setup, working and streaming shows.

Wrong! If they give you an activation code, your xbox does NOT have to connect with your computer to inform NefFlix of it. If that was a required step dont you think they might have mentioned that........dumbass.

Ok, here is what kingobaid is saying. He cannot ACTIVATE netflix because he has no router. So he tries to get the activation code, then disconnect from xbox live to get his computer online so that he can use said activation code, however once he disconnects from xbox live the activation code expires. I am having the same issue and have found no answer yet. So, pribylbr, you are trying to make him feel stupid after you completely misread his question. I'm not sure what the word is for that but it worse than dumbass. Forums are better used for helping people, what are you here for?
I have had an issue which involves activation. I have had my xbox registered with netflix for about a month or so. However, last night after my internet crashed, it has continuously prompted me to register my xbox with netflix and that registration does not seem to take.
It seems a lot of people are misunderstanding the concept of this Free Netflix Trial.
It's the same as any other similar trial... you need to choose a plan and enter credit card information so that they can verify you aren't just trying to use this with multiple free signups, and to automaticalstart the subscription you choose once your free trial ends.
This isn't just a free thing without having to do all that, if it was the case, it would be "Free movie downloads to your Xbox 360" and not "Free Netflix". You have to sign up as if you were going to do the regular membership thing and pay monthly for movies, only you have to cancel by the 13th day to not be charged.
All I can tell u to do is go to the code page on your xbox get the code leave it on that page and go to a friends,familys house and put the code in there that should do the trick for you.
