Very interesting rumor. Does something like this appeal to anyone? It does to me. A one time charge of $3.00 is all you pay if youre a NETFLIX customer? This is more like something im interested in than the current marketplace. Id download alot more movies if they gave me more than 24 hours to watch them. This might be the answer.

Something tells me if this were to happen, Microsoft would find some way to charge us a fee for it.

Personally I don't use the current service and wouldn't use the netflix one either,i don't think it is a bad idea but I am just a DVD junkie and prefer to purchase DVDs instead.

However the idea of MS only charging us 3.00 dollars is definatly out of the question. What is probably more appropriate is like a different version of a live subscription like maybe 79.99 for a 12 month-1free Gold All access pass. Which allowed you to download X amounts of movies a week/month or w/e.

Actually, the $3 charge was for some disc that you'd use on the PS3. The survey said you'd get it on the 360 thru Xbox Live.

This would not be a service that you pay to rent movies. Netflix currently has a streaming service where you can watch unlimited movies through Internet Explorer on Windows PCs. They announced a set top box made by LG coming out this year that will stream those same movies to your TV. Netflix is trying to get this same service on the PS3 and 360.

Only problem is the selection of movies and such on this streaming service isn't exactly triple A movies. You'll find older stuff and B movies.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the price. This unlimited streaming of movies is included with any Netflix subscription plan. I have the 3 out at a time plan and pay like $17/month. So, with that, I can watch the movies they have available for streaming unlimited.
