I'm guessing the wireless will still be intact, but probably a smaller HDD (like a 60gb HDD)

Nah, wireless will be the first thing to go. M$ hasn't discontinued their line of Wi-fi adapters so it's their way of saying "You wanna be cheap... Dont worry, were gonna get that money anyway."

If they keep the hard drive (even if its smaller) and keep the wireless internet, then I will buy.

I may actually be interested in this as I only have the original 360 console.

I haven't however had any problems with it so I see no "real" reason to need the upgrade.
