So I just got an email saying that there will be a brand new update for the dashboard coming soon this week. Anyone know anything about this??

Yeah, it's going to incorporate Kinect, ESPN3, etc.

Yeah I'm in the preview program. It adds ESPN, updates Netflix, adds Zune Music Marketplace, changes Avatars to look more human, andit changes the look of the dashboard itself. The new look might not be to everyones liking, but its not too bad.

it is the first, but i have a question. today is the 31st, if i keep my 360 connected to my modem will it automatically download the update at midnight or will it have to wait until i turn it on again on the 1st?

Well if your 360 is on at 2:30am it'll prompt you for the update but it cant download updates automatically. You have to accept the download. There should definitely be a feature to auto download updates though. I hate when a new update comes out, and I have to wait 10 minutes before getting on lol. It would be better if it just downloaded it while I was sleeping. That way next time I logged on I could just go straight to whatever I want to do.
