Hey guys, I just need a suggestion from my fellow gamers. So recently My xbox 360 broke down and after countless attempts in repairing it, nothing. SO, should I buy a new xbox 360 original, elite or none at all.
One of the biggest reasons why I'm hesitant is because of the lack of helpful tech support Microsoft offers. But if some of you have some Tech support good will stories, please share I need some re-assurance.

I have never had a problem with my system. So cannot offer you any tech support stories. I will say that if you can, get the Elite. At this point all system issues would be resolved by now (you would assume). Plus, the Elite is just bad ass.

Yeah, I mean its just good to know that the elite was post-original so they worked out tons of kinks. I just hope it doesn't give me that accursed ring of death again

I think you should wait till winter (if you can) because from where I have heard the new Elite version will be coming with new nano chip with upgraded graphics proccessor. And yes with HDMI output. Its already been two years nearly and in what way theMS had released 360 this would be there Service Pack 1. But I would ask you to buy X360 only. As For the service read the blog of ALIENS1234 it would tell you enough.

all i can say about M$ service is its "helpful" at the most. usually u have to speak with a person who doesn't talk very loud or speaks with some kinda wierd accent. goin the new xbox route will take u a day (unless u gotta save up) and goin the service route takes about 14-20 days (unless u gotta save up).

If you have the money to spend, get an Elite. If not then get the Premium system (unless your hard drive and everything else is fine, then just a Core system). Oh and, seriously get a store warrenty. I cannot stress that enough. If anything happens you just bring it back and get a new one (although you do have to buy a new warrenty once you bring the system back)
