New 360 owners! are you annoyed about the elite edition?

I got my xbox 360 last month, and to be honest i love it, and i'm not really bothered about this rumored new version either, because at its core its the same 360,and plays the same games, and i think thats what most people are forgeting. Its not a new 360, afterall isn't it about the games?

 What do you new owners think?

To tell you the truth the new 360 will effect 2 people: 1) people who watch movies and want to watch T.V on their 360's 2) People who are very picky with High Def T.V. I don't need a 120g hard drive because I use the memory for my Arcade games and Memory. Also, I use regular high def cables and looks pretty damn nice without the HDMI. And finally I have cable to watch T.V and buy DVD's....not my 360. I bought my 360 to PLAY GAMES.

I have a warranty at Gamestop, so maybe I can take in my current 360 + the warranty and pay the difference and they'll give me the elite or something.Trickshot771

 i doubt it man.  i could understand them letting you return the 360 if it was new and putting your credit towards a new one but i really doubt they'll let you bring in your used 360 with warranty to trade up.  idk, just my .02.

im an old 360 owner of over a year and i am etremely pissed off, i think that microsoft should have the stores let people trade their premiums in with an extra 80 bucks or so in return for the new one.wiiforever25

why just because i own a wii i dont own a 360.  i could care less about about the hdmi, i want the hdd, and hello the quietness of it and the fact that it wont overheat anymore, i use the intercooler and have had no problems but am sick and tired of the jet engine sound i get from that mixed with the loudness of my 360. 

I heard somewhere it would run quieter though and have significantly less crashing/failure or something due to hardware upgrades. That would really piss me off cause mine is superloud and I have to deal with annoying disc read errors quite often.RebornInFlames

Attack of the Show on G4 said that Gamespot/Game informer has made this year's April Fool's Joke early with the announcement of this elite 360 thing. Not sure if that's true or not, but that's what A.O.T.S claimed.
