New Call of Duty 4 Mulitplayer online Maps

Santa Monica, CA - February 4, 2008 - Fresh intel from Activision headquarters (Nasdaq: ATVI) reports that new global conflicts are planned in the form of downloadable multiplayer maps for the award-winning Call of Duty® 4: Modern WarfareTM. In development for both Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the upcoming downloadable content will thrust gamers into a hot zone of added combat across a variety of intense multiplayer locales.

"We've demonstrated our commitment to delivering the best multiplayer experience in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and that continues with our plans for new downloadable content," explains Infinity Ward's Community Manager, Robert Bowling. "We're excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can't wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone."

The worldwide best-selling game in units of 2007, according to The NPD Group, Chart Track and The GFK Group, and winner of more than 40 editors' choice and game of the year honors, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is rated "M" (Mature) by the ESRB for Intense Violence, Strong Language, Blood and Gore. The new downloadable content is scheduled for release this spring, and will be available on Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation Network.

I am sick of waiting for them to have everything done...gimmie what you have so far!

I cant wait for the new maps though.

i hope my 360 gets back from the repair shop b4 then but thats nice to hear. i think they should worry about the patch b4 they give us the maps though.

100% Agreed.

this a is a great game and all but they need to patch up alot of issues. Hit detection on this game sickens me...as well as the melee working at quirky times. ill forget about this game once R6LV2 is out.

Bullet tracking on a sniper...

A person can be sitting perfectly still and you have your crosshairs dead on his chest and when you shoot the bullet doesn't even hit the person...

I just hope this doesn't end up like the PS3 version... my friend said they have had several patches and each one has created more issues than it has fixed...

But it never got to the point where I thought something was broken or needed to be severely patched...but I guess I'm not playing as much as most people enough to notice. I do however hate when I get behind a wall and then still get killed from bullets hitting me as if i was in the middle of the street. (and yes I know bullets go through walls in this game, i'm talking about the walls where bullets cannot get through).

I know what you mean... I will be sprinting around a corner and I die around the corner and on the kill cam the guy only shoots like 3 bullets and I am already rounding the corner when he is shooting...
