New console

My 360 just took a crap on me for the 2nd time now after a 2 year period and I'm no longer under warranty.

I was wondering if anyone knows if Microsoft has fixed the problems with the 360s on retail shelves right now. I'd rather just buy a new arcade console instead of repairing it, because I will not pay to repair it a third time (inevitable).

Ya, just get the new 360. As far as I knew, the xbox hasn't had any problems. At least for me...
